Pharmaceutical and healthcare glass and plastic product supplier, Gerresheimer, showcased one of its innovations, a Gx RTF ClearJect syringe, at the recent Pharmtech exhibition in Moscow, Russia.
The prefillable, high-performance plastic Cyclo-Olefin-Polymer (COP) with cannula is manufactured in Europe.
The company extended its product portfolio of COP syringes by combining the RTF (ready-to-fill) concept for glass syringes with ClearJect to create the new Gx RTF ClearJect brand. The syringe is suitable for demanding, sensitive medications and high-viscosity agents.
The syringes, which are one millilitre in length, have a 12.7mm thin wall stainless steel needle with a beveled tip. The design is ISO 11040-6 compliant and registered.
The company also exhibited nasal spray bottles in various sizes and designs.
There are two Gerresheimer product lines for nasal sprays, nebuliser bottles and pump-top bottles. The nebuliser bottles are available in 20 and 30mℓ sizes. Pump-top bottles are available in 10, 15 and 20mℓ sizes. The nebuliser bottle accessories include nebulisers and screw caps, also manufactured by Gerresheimer.
The pump-top bottles are equipped with a complex pump-spray system, plus a protective cap.
All the functions of the spray and pump-top bottles are identical. The only difference is the filling method.
